Steven’s strong passion for the sea and his dream of changing the game in yacht management led him to work in the maritime industry. With a ton of experience in the marine business, he’s now making a big impact at Absolute Yacht Services Pte Ltd. Before this, he spent ten impressive years in the Republic of Singapore Navy, where he was the go-to person for fast craft squadron’s engineering.

In his Navy days, Steven became a pro with MAN engines, especially in keeping propulsion systems in top shape. This made fast ships run way smoother. Dealing with Kamewa and Hamilton waterjet propulsion systems was part of his daily routine, showing off his tech skills and dedication to keeping marine operations at their best.

After moving to the private sector, Steven took charge as Head of Service for South East Asia at Simpson Marine. Using his navy experience, he made sure services ran like a well-oiled machine, giving clients a top-notch experience.

And when it comes to learning, Steven doesn’t hold back. Training at Azimut in Italy gave him the inside scoop on how Italians build boats with precision. Lagoon in France taught him a lot about catamarans. Specialized training on Quick Stabilisers in Italy made him an expert in keeping ships stable, and his Seabob training in Germany boosted his skills in the latest water propulsion tech. All these experiences show how committed he is to staying on top of the latest in the industry.
